THE DUPLOS I BOUGHT WHEN MY FIRST GRANDCHILD WAS BORN ARE STILL IN USE 20 YEARS LATER. I BOUGHT ALOT OF DIFFERENT SETS AND ALL AGES OF KIDS COME OVER AND PLAY WITH THEM. THEY HAVE PROBABLY BEEN THROUGH 20 DIFFERENT CHILDREN AND CONSTANT USE. THEY ARE INTERMINGLED WITH LEGOS BUT THEY HAVE ALOT OF CHARACTERS AND SUBJECTS, TRAINS, CIRCUS, AIRPLANES, ETC. THEY ARE THE BEST INVESTMENT I EVER MADE AND THIS LITTLE STARTER TRAIN SET IS GREAT FOR THE UNDER 3 SET AND WORTH EVERY PENNY.

It is the perfect way to introduce Legos for young kids. It has a limited variety of parts included, only 9 blocks, but is just right for a young toddler and does allow for creative variations. And above all my son loves elephants so it was a easy choice.
