Toot-toot! All aboard for lunch with the very functional Thomas the Tank lunch box, which is made of durable plastic and comes in the traditional Thomas blue with a red handle. Inside the generous container are an 11.5-ounce canteen and a Pecoware double-deck sandwich container, which measures 5 by 5 by 3 inches. Both are adorned with Thomas scenes. On the front of the lunch box is a nifty front panel--decorated with another happy Thomas scene--that clips open. This compartment is big enough to accommodate another sandwich or is the perfect hiding place to tuck away a secret goodie for your child. Press a button on the side of the canteen, and the cover pops up, revealing a straw. No muss, no fuss. Bought this is in January for my son to use for his daily lunch box. It is May and I already have to buy a new lunch box. It was smaller in size than I originally expected. The latch to keep it closed is loose and doesn't stay too secure. My son being 3 dropped it on the floor once and the plastic cracked. Not very good quality for a kids lunchbox. I am buying an soft sided insulated bag this time.

My Opinion about the product
I was looking for Thomas Lunch Box for my grandson. I was surprised how easy I found it using the internet and the excellent service I received from Amazon. He was so happy and enjoys it a lot. He used it the whole weekend although he has no classes. Thank you for the service and availability of the product. It mathes with his school book bag. We are satisfy with the purchase.

This lunchbox was purchased for my 3 yr old starting pre-school, he loved it, I loved it, has alot of room for plenty of snacks and lunch, but one morning running late rushing out, it dropped on the garage floor and broke, that was that.

This is really wonderful. My son loves this! He loves the outer compartment and likes to put a special snack or part of his lunch in there. The cup is very cool and he loves that too. And the little box inside has 2 compartments which he loves also. We put a sandwich in one part and fruit or crackers in the other part. It is so far above our expectations! My other son had picked a different lunchbox, but we may have to get another one of these.

Very sturdy, easy to clean, so perfect for my 6 year old son. It comes with a container large enough for salads or fruit storage and a seperate tray on top for a sandwich. The thermos is also of good quality material and seals well even when shaken. You might want to add an ice pack because the box is not designed to keep food cold.
