Product Description
Illustrated in full color. Jam-packed with loads of flaps to "lift, look, and learn" from, this book will have young children searching for engines painted blue, green, or red, counting from 1 to 10, and learning the alphabet.
Format: Board, 12 pages
Amazon.com Review Let's get one thing straight right off the bat. Children love books with flaps. They can't get enough of them. And this book has many, many flaps--over 60, in fact. Something else: children are crazy about Thomas the tank engine. Translation? Very young readers will happily spend a lot of time lifting and learning with this big, bright, colorful board book. Early learning concepts are reinforced on each page, as readers are encouraged to explore their knowledge of colors, numbers, sizes, everyday objects, and the alphabet. Thomas the tank engine travels through the pages, starting out early in the morning in the train shed and moving through the stations, dropping off parcels and passengers, and finally ending up in the freight yard with car after car full of important objects to be delivered, such as milk, doors, a piano, a kangaroo, and xylophones. Children should be allowed to roam freely over the pages of this book, making up their own stories related to the pictures they discover under the flaps. (Ages 2 and older) --Emilie Coulter

Adorable Thomas lift and look book February 5, 2010 June Zuckerman My 2 yr. old grandson just loves Thomas the Tank Engines. He loves to lift the little windows and peek inside. He wants me to read it over and over. I total recommend this book.
Love It January 7, 2010 Ciaran (Tennessee) I was very pleased with this book. Great size and vibrant colors. A great addition to our collection of Thomas books.
great book April 16, 2009 Ana Paula (VA, USA) The book is lovely, they both LOVE it and is by far their favorite. There are several flaps fot them to open and close, and the "surprise" behind them are great teaching tools. I highly recommend this book for the "lift-the-flap" lovers. This poor book survived my 5 year old, but now will need to be replaced since my 17 months son got ahold of it.I will be purchasing a new one soon.
Thomas the Tank Engine's Big Lift and Look Book March 11, 2009 Susan Proctor Cute book with lots and lots of flaps to open. My son enjoys it a lot.

I bought this book 11 years ago for grandson, Paul who is now 14 years old. My new grandson, Eli, is 19 months old and has just discovered Thomas. I wanted to buy Eli a Thomas book and remembered the time spent reading this book with Paul and the enjoyment we both got from it. I'm buying the book again for Eli. I know he will love it and learn from it and I will love sharing it with him.
